Guinness World Records has announced that the world’s oldest man has died aged 112.
John Tinniswood was born in Liverpool on 26 August 1912 and became the world’s oldest living man in April 2024.
He died on 25 August 2024 at his care home in Southport, "surrounded by music and love", according to a statement released by his family.
