As the cold weather sets in, both Russia and the EU have set their sights on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Albeit with opposing intentions. While the EU is increasing its exports of electricity to Ukraine, recent Russian airstrikes have hammered the country’s power grid. The EU has already spent two billion euros to keep Ukrainians warm and has committed another 160 million for this winter. DW Correspondent Anchal Vohra reports from Brussels.
