Sky News has visited the scene of what we have been told is an IsraelI strike on a convoy that was carrying weapons from the former regime.
Sky correspondent Alex Rossi said much of the weaponry was Russian.
A driver of one of the trucks told Sky News he was asked to move the weapons "by two men".
It reflects a "vacuum of power" in the country following the fall of Bashar al Assad’s regime, Rossi said.
Israel says it has been hitting weapons dumps to prevent the arms being used by other actors.
