A historic mass rape trail in France is drawing to its conclusion.
At the centre of it is 72-year-old grandmother Gisèle Pelicot.
Her husband of 50 years is accused of drugging her into unconsciousness and allowing strangers into the house where they allegedly raped her.
In his first British broadcast interview, Gisèle Pelicot’s lawyer has told BBC Newsnight about the impact the case has had on his client.
