When Sara Sharif’s body was found, the 10-year-old had 70 new injuries.
She had been hooded, burned, beaten and bitten during more than two years of abuse at the hands of the very people who were meant to be caring for her.
A jury at the Old Bailey found her father and stepmother guilty of her murder. Her uncle was found guilty of causing and allowing her death.
The judge described the case as "extremely stressful and traumatic."
