More than 45-thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the start of the war in Gaza, marking a grim new milestone for the beseiged enclave. At least 17 people, including children, were killed on Monday. Many were from a drone attack on a residential building in the Shejaiya neighbourhood of Gaza City.
