UN Envoy to Syria, Geir Pedersen, has said "there is a lot of hope" for a "new Syria" following the recent downfall of Assad.
Speaking in Damascus, he says it’s still "early days" for the country, but "the conflict isn’t over yet". In time he hopes for a political transition that is "credible" and "inclusive".
