Authorities in the United States believe that multiple suspects were involved in the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans. At least 15 people were killed and dozens more injured when a man drove a truck at high speed into a crowd. The area remains an active crime scene. Victims included a college sports star and an aspiring nurse — some of those killed are still being identified.
The driver was killed in a shootout with police as the incident unfolded. President Joe Biden has called the attack despicable.
