Trudeau resignation ‘comes amid growing frustration among the people of Canada’ • FRANCE 24

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation on Monday, saying he will leave office as soon as the ruling Liberal party chooses a new leader after months of slumping polls and internal division. The resignation comes as little surprise, says France 24’s Philip Turle, amid “growing frustration” in Canada with the Trudeau and the Liberal party.
