The Prime Minister has been forced to defend his record on grooming gangs, after a series of social media posts from Elon Musk.
Sir Keir said his record as director of public prosecutions (DPP) from 2008-2013 shows how he changed "the entire approach" to child sexual abuse victims that was stopping them from being heard, and had the highest number of cases prosecuted on record.
The government has since announced plans to strengthen laws on child sexual abuse.
Officials were accused of ignoring claims young girls were being abused by organised groups of Asian men in Rotherham from the late 1980s until 2013.
