Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has told Southport’s MP that his community "needs answers" as to how July’s attack could have been able to happen.
She was questioned by Patrick Hurley in the Commons after announcing a public inquiry into the murders.
It’s emerged that Axel Rudukabana was referred to the government anti-terror programme Prevent three times before he carried out the attack.
