Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is gripped by an escalating conflict. M23 rebels advance further south after taking the key city of Goma. The UN says almost 3,000 people have been killed in the fighting there. DW gets the latest from Jason Stearns, senior fellow of the Centre for International Cooperation, and founder and chair of the Congo Research Group. Stearns explains how Rwanda and Burundi are fighting a war on DR Congo soil, by deploying their troops to eastern DR Congo and funding mineral wealth extraction in the area.
