A massive rubbish dump on the outskirts of the Indian capital is having a devastating effect on the lives of millions of people living in its shadow.
This trash mount is more than 200 feet high and covers an area of almost 70 acres – over 50 football pitches, making it one of the largest landfills in the country.
Successive governments have failed to deal with the growing problem of Delhi’s "garbage mountain" and it’s those living in proximity whose health is suffering most, with one doctor saying "it’s a slow poisoning of people living here".
