The Pope’s funeral will take place on Saturday 26 April at St Peter’s Square in Vatican City. It’s the same place where he made his final public appearance on Easter Sunday.
The funeral will begin at 9am UK time – or 10am local time. Mourners – including world leaders – will pack into the Vatican for the service.
