Los Angeles authorities have declared the entire downtown area of the city an "unlawful assembly" zone after a third consecutive day of unrest. Clashes between protesters and law enforcement were sparked by the crackdown on immigration ordered by US President Donald Trump — and intensified after the president’s decision to deploy the National Guard. Dozens of people have been arrested so far and LA police warn more will follow.
