Watch live as French pilot and inventor Franky Zapata attempts to cross the English Channel on an air scooter. He aims to land in St Margaret’s Bay, Kent, before returning to Sangatte, near Calais, in northern France.
Back in 2019, Zapata successfully crossed the Channel on his jet-powered hoverboard for the first time. On that occasion, the inventor completed the 21-mile stretch between the French and English coasts in around 25 minutes.
