In tonight’s edition: Ghanaians went to the polls on Monday to choose their next president and 275 members of parliament. There are twelve candidates in total in the race for the top job but the frontrunners are two familiar faces : incumbent Nana Akufo- Addo of the New Patriotic party or NPP and his predecessor, former leader John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress or NDC. He led for four years until he was unseated by Akufo Addo in 2016. We speak to our correspondent on the ground Sam Bradpiece and Gildfred Asiamah, research analyst at Afrobarometer.
