Check-in and boarding systems crashed at several major airports, including Berlin Brandenburg and London’s Heathrow, leading to long lines, delays, and cancellations on September 20.
The issue stemmed from a “cyber-related disruption” at Collins Aerospace, a global provider for airlines. Parent company RTX said manual check-in is still possible and fixes are underway.
