China’s Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge officially opens to traffic. It’s the world’s tallest bridge sitting at 625 metres above the Beipan River in China’s Guizhou. The 2,890 metre-long bridge spans 1,420-metre and is the world’s longest-span steel truss girder suspension bridge that’s built in mountainous terrain. The engineering marvel cuts travel time across the canyon from two hours to two minutes.
