UEFA have "reluctantly" approved two European league matches to be played abroad but have argued "it will not set a precedent".
Villarreal’s La Liga match against Barcelona will take place in Miami later this year while AC Milan’s Italian Serie A match against Como will take place Down Under in Perth, Australia in February 2026.
