Shadow Defence Secretary, James Cartlidge spoke to Sky’s Trevor Phillips about the wrongly released prisoners.
The shadow defence secretary said David Lammy’s refusal to answer his questions was a "discourtesy to parliament".
"I simply wanted to know were there any other cases like that so he could reassure the public and he chose not to do so", he added.
