Ukrainian authorities charged seven individuals on Tuesday in relation to an alleged $100 million kickback scheme involving senior energy officials that has caused public anger. Speaking on FRANCE 24, founder and director of the Eurasia Democracy Initiative Peter Zalmayev says ‘I hope for Ukraine’s sake and President Zelensky’s sake that he’s able to put on a credible demonstration of accountability’.
