Saudi jets have carried out air strikes on a Yemeni port where Riyadh says two ships were offloading weapons and armed vehicles. State media is reporting the vessels had come from the United Arab Emirates and arrived in Yemen over the weekend. The Saudi-led coalition that’s involved in Yemen’s war includes the UAE, but the past few days were already tense after Riyadh warned Yemen’s main southern separatist group against making any military moves.
