On Wednesday. Vice President JD Vance and secretary of state Marco Rubio held talks with Danish officials at the White House, which Copenhagen said ended with "fundamental disagreement" about Greenland’s future.
Danish foreign minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said there was a "frank but also constructive discussion" during the meeting, but "our perspectives continue to differ".
