UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says it’s vital for London and Beijing to build a more stable relationship, as he met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. The talks, held at the Great Hall of the People, mark the first visit by a UK leader in nearly a decade. Starmer’s priority is to improve relations with China as he looks to boost trade and investment. Jan David reports from Beijing.
