Will Syria’s ISIS camps remain secure? | BBC News

The Syrian government has reached a ceasefire deal that will see Kurdish forces — longtime allies of the US — gradually integrate with the Syrian army.

The fighting has been blamed for recent escapes from prison camps, where suspected ISIS fighters and their families are being kept, under the guard of the Kurds.

So will this deal help secure the camps? And, as Washington throws its support behind the Syrian government, is this a sign that the US has abandoned the Kurds?
