Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi says she plans to make her country ‘safe, strong and prosperous’ after leading her conservative Liberal Democratic Party to a landslide election victory. It’s a result that has certainly pleased the markets, with Japanese stocks surging to a high.
