Ukraine’s chief negotiator says ‘progress’ in peace talks with Russia, but no breakthrough

There was no major breakthrough in a second day of talks on ending the war in Ukraine in Geneva on Wednesday, although Ukraine’s lead negotiator Rustem Umerov insisted there had been "progress" in the US-mediated discussions with Russia.
