The USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier was seen passing through the Strait of Gibraltar and entering the Mediterranean Sea on Friday, likely heading towards the Middle East amid rising tensions with Iran.
The US ship made the journey from Venezuela towards the Middle East following Trump’s order.
