Eid-al-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan will take place at the end of this week. People around the globe will gather to mark the occasion with shared meals, sweet pastries, and celebration. For those in Gaza, the holiday highlights everything that has been lost following more than two years of an Israeli onslaught that has left much of the enclave in ruins and killed over 72 000 Palestinians.
