Social Democrat Mette Frederiksen has said she is "ready to assume" the role of Prime Minister of Denmark again, despite her party’s significant setback in March 25’s parliamentary elections, which saw the left-wing bloc win the most votes but lack a majority. With 21.9% of the vote, the Social Democrats reached their lowest level since 1903, far from the 27.5% they achieved in 2022.
