Within weeks, the economic shock from the Middle East war has spread worldwide, hitting households, businesses, farms and fuel stations. Now, officials are hoping to combat those problems using new technology. And Uganda is buying 100 kilograms of gold this year to boost its foreign exchange reserves and rely less on the US dollar.
