PM avoids saying whether public should change behaviour

Sir Keir Starmer is asked by our political correspondent Lucy McDaid whether people at home should be changing their behaviours as a result of increased pressures amid a global surge in energy prices.

The prime minister does not directly answer, but says he is monitoring the situation "carefully".

"We had a COBRA meeting looking at the ongoing impacts here in Britain yesterday – that is being monitored daily," he says.
