DRC prepares new treatment centres due to Ebola patient influx

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is preparing new treatment centres to deal with the latest Ebola outbreak. Hospitals are overwhelmed by the growing number of patients presenting with flu-like symptoms – a major sign of the potentially fatal disease. The World Health Organization says the resources in the DRC are not enough to stop the spread. Neighbouring Rwanda has shut its border with the DRC to contain the outbreak. Kristina Shimich reports.
