Multiple Israeli strikes hit houses and shelters across Gaza on Tuesday, as Palestinians prepared for the Eid al Adha holiday. They included what the Israeli military described as an assassination attempt on Mohammed Odeh, the new leader of Hamas’ armed wing. The group has yet to confirm whether Odeh was killed.
