A wildfire in Spain’s Aragon region scorched more than 7,600 hectares, forcing the evacuation of at least 1,000 residents as firefighters battled to contain the blaze. Emergency crews, including Spain’s Military Emergency Unit, have been working since July 15 to stop the fire from spreading. Authorities declared a Level 2 emergency as the wildfire threatens populated areas and key infrastructure.
