The suspect in the attack on a Pride event in Berlin yesterday has been shot and killed by police.
The individual, previously named as 21-year-old Abdul Ballout, was fatally shot at an allotment garden complex in the city’s Spandau suburb, Berlin Police said in a statement on X.
One person died and 29 others were injured after a van drove into a crowd at the event, known as Christopher Street Day, in Tiergarten Park at around 10pm local time (9pm UK time) last night, police said.
