Addressing the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for the UN Security Council to be reformed around the principle that “the world is bigger than five.”
He said a system where the will of more than 190 countries depends on the decisions of five is neither fair nor capable of fully establishing trust.
