A controversial campaign ad has exposed divisions among Republicans in the US state of Ohio. The ad from Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy features his Democratic rival Amy Acton’s estranged mother, whose husband was charged with abusing Acton as a child. As the midterm elections approach, some Republicans fear the controversy could hurt their chances in Ohio’s closely contested Senate race. Leone Lakhani reports.
