France recommends AstraZeneca only for people aged 55 and older

France has lifted its suspension of the #AstraZeneca​ vaccine. However, officials now recommend the #Covid19​ vaccine only be used in people aged 55 and over. Dr Michel Goldman, professor of medical immunology and ULB, says the vaccine’s benefit is much larger than the risk. The EU’s drugs regulator said Thursday that the AstraZeneca vaccine doesn’t increase the overall incidence of blood clots.
