A group of British MPs has criticized the government for failing to protect UK elections from Russian interference. A report by Parliament’s Intelligence & Security Committee says Downing Street avoided investigating Russia’s meddling in Britain’s political system. The committee also accuses the British government of deliberately not looking for evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 referendum which saw Britain vote to leave the European Union.
