The so-called “great coronavirus law” will come into effect august 10th – reducing parliamentary oversight power. It will allow the cabinet expanded powers – to impose wide-ranging restrictions to curb the coronavirus pandemic, effectively neutering the #coronavirus Committee which has reversed a series of cabinet-ordered #lockdown restrictions in recent days.
