COVID protest | Peruvian health workers’ protest dispersed by water cannons

August 13, 2020

A protest, staged by health workers that took to the streets of Lima to demand better working conditions amid the second wave of COVID pandemic, was dispersed by water cannons. As for now, Peru has reported over 489,680 cases of COVID and 21,501 related deaths.
