At least 64 protesters were detained and charged with obstructing a roadway and disorderly conduct in #Louisville, #Kentucky, during a sit-in against police violence. The protest took place at the conclusion of a four-day event drawing attention to the case of #BreonnaTaylor. The woman was killed while sleeping in her bed in on March 13, after police officers broke into her apartment under a ‘no-knock warrant’ suspecting her to be part of a drug ring. The woman was eventually shot eight times as the officers exchanged gunshots with her boyfriend.
