Pope Francis is in France highlighting the plight of refugees making the perilous journey across the Mediterranean. He met with the French President Emmanuel Macron in the city of Marseille. The two met earlier in the day and later attended mass at the Velodrome stadium. Pope Francis’ visit is focused on migration and he called on European governments to do more to care for migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea.
