Nagorno-Karabakh: France to provide military support to Armenia – BBC News

The French foreign minister has met with officials in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where she has said that France is ready to sign a military agreement with the country. Catherine Colonna met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Tuesday. Armenia’s prime minister and Azerbaijan’s president are due to hold peace talks in Spain later today. Nearly 120,000 ethnic Armenians have fled Nagorno-Karabakh since Azerbaijan seized the region last month.
