The government has announced new legislation to overturn the convictions of all sub-postmasters in England and Wales on the basis of Post Office evidence given during the Horizon scandal. Speaking in the House of Commons, Post Office Minister Kevin Hollinrake announced the new legislation in detail. He said: “We recognise this is an exceptional step, but these are exceptional circumstances.”
