Benjamin Netanyahu says he hopes to overcome differences with Joe Biden

The Israeli prime minister has said he hoped to resolve his differences with Joe Biden over the war in Gaza in an hour-long interview with an American self-help guru and talkshow host, Phil McGraw, known as Dr Phil. It comes afer the Biden administration paused the supply of thousands of large bombs to Israel in opposition to apparent moves by the Israelis to invade the Gaza city of Rafah. Israel has destroyed many of Hamas’s ‘terrorist’ battalions, Netanyahu said on the Dr Phil Primetime show, adding the remaining battalions were in Rafah, and that is why Israeli forces had to enter the area
