“We won the European elections, we are the anchor of stability”, said EU Commission President von der Leyen in the hemicycle of the European Parliament. It comes as the centre-right European People’s Party (EPP) appears to have won the European Parliament elections with 189 seats, representing 25.83% of the parliament, an initial forecast from the European Parliament elections shows, with all polls closed.
