A "Reclaim the Night" protest against the brutal rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata, India which started late August 14 escalated, as the R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital where the victim’s body was found was partially vandalised.
India has seen nationwide protests over the incident, with medical practitioners on strike and demanding justice.
